【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulfordeterminingtheamountofmetalliczincinzincdustpigment,andalsoindriedfilmsofbothinorganicandorganiczinc-richcoatings.TestMethodsD521isanappropriatemethodforanalyzingzincdust,buthasshortcomingswhenappliedtosamplesofcuredcoatings.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationbydifferentialscanningcalorimetryofthemetalliczinccontentofbothzinc-dustpigment,andofdriedfilmsofzinc-richcoatings.Thistestmethodisapplicabletobothinorganicandorganiczinc-richcoatings1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
